To celebrate our 150 year anniversary, the panoramic Landemer hotel and restaurant re-opened on July.1 2014, after a total refurbishment.
Opening out onto the sea at the end of the fine sandy beach of Urville-Nacqueville, ten kilometres from Cherbourg, north Cotentin, the Landemer marks the start of the Sentier des Douaniers in the Hague along over 80km of wild coastline. It is located at the entrance of the typical village of the same name, where the Princess of Spain, or even Boris Vian once had their homes. From Claude Monet to Edith Piaf, or indeed Françoise Sagan to name but a few, the Landemer has always attracted artists and today remains one of the Hague’s essential heritage sites.
