The Hotel Restaurant Le Landemer is 150 years old
It reopened in July 2014 after a complete rehabilitation.

Facing the sea at the very end of the fine sandy beach of Urville-Nacqueville, ten km from Cherbourg and Beaumont-Hague in the Cotentin peninsula, Le Landemer marks the beginning of the "sentier des douaniers", along a wild coast of more than 80 km where Boris Vian, Claude Monet, Edith Piaf or Françoise Sagan had their quarters in their time.

For sea lovers, you can’t get any closer than in these four rooms to feeling you’re on board a ship, in a luxury cabin, complete with yacht-style bathroom, which acts to accentuate this feeling. The large bay window opens onto the private wooden terrace. Just in front, the sea. To the East, Fermanville lighthouse. To the West, Omonville-la-Rogue. Christened Normandie, France, Lusitania and Queen Mary. They adjoin in pairs (ideal for a family, with the added benefit of an even larger terrace). The “longère” is a separate building belonging to the hotel. It is situated about 20 meters from the historical building, facing the sea.

All of them have a 12 m² private terrace in addition to the 20m2 room.

Rooms

For a high level of comfort, all materials have been carefully selected, coming mainly from Italy and India, and the floors are real oak. Special care is taken in particular over the bedding, 160×200 in dimension.

The bed sheets are 80% cotton with a satin band, the long fibres combed and mercerised for extra comfort and the thick bedding is 100% cotton for added softness. The basin is made of cristal from Florence and the shower is covered with stone.

Three  categories of rooms are available: confort rooms, Longère (with private terrasse) and Executive Room.
